The library is the DAM for every reference in your workspace. Every save method feeds it — uploads, pasted links, the Chrome Extension, Text to save, and imports — so there's never a question of where something went.

What lands here
Everything. A reference saved to a board is still in the library; putting things on boards never removes them from it. Think of the library as the complete archive and boards as curated views on top of it.
Filtering
The library gets big fast, so it comes with filters:
- By source — narrow to references from instagram, vimeo, pinterest, cosmos, url, upload, spotify, threads, x, tiktok, or youtube. Handy right after an import.
- By contributor — see what a specific teammate has saved.
- All / Unsorted — Unsorted shows references that aren't on any board yet. It's the natural triage view: skim it, drag the keepers onto boards, and keep the backlog short.
- Saved with text — show only references that came in through Text to save.
For finding things by what they look like rather than where they came from, use natural-language search — see Search your library.
Organizing into boards
Drag references onto a board, or select several and move them together. A reference can live on multiple boards at once, so organize freely — you're never taking something away from another board or from the library.
Two board patterns most teams keep handy: a shared inspiration board for taste, and work boards for jobs in flight. See Boards.
Keyboard shortcuts
In the expanded reference view:
- ← / → — previous and next reference
- F — toggle favorite
- Escape — close
In the grid:
- Cmd/Ctrl + A — select everything
- Escape — clear the selection
Good to know: Arrow keys plus F is the fastest triage loop in Bloom — open the first reference, flick through with the arrows, and tap F on anything worth keeping close.
