The Chrome Extension is the fastest way to capture while you browse. Once installed, saving a reference is one click — no copying links, no switching tabs.
Install and pin
- Install the Bloom extension from the Chrome Web Store.
- Click the puzzle-piece icon in Chrome's toolbar and pin Bloom so it's always visible.
- Sign in with your Bloom account when prompted.
Saving from any page
- Hover to save — move your cursor over an image and a save button appears on it. Click it and the image lands in your library.
- Right-click — right-click any image or page and choose Save to Bloom from the context menu.
- Save panel — click the pinned Bloom icon to open the save panel for the current page.
Choosing a destination board
When you save, you can pick a destination board from the save panel's board picker — or skip it and let the reference land in your library unsorted. You can always organize later; everything is searchable either way.
Site-specific saving
The extension is built to work smoothly on the sites creatives research on — ShotDeck, Frameset, Pinterest, and Cosmos — as well as anywhere else on the web. Saves keep their source, so you can filter your library by where things came from.
Troubleshooting
- Save button not appearing? Refresh the page after installing — tabs opened before the install don't have the extension loaded yet.
- Not signed in? Click the pinned icon and sign in; saves require an active Bloom session.
- Still stuck? Email [email protected].
