The Research Agent does the deep-dive for you. Instead of opening a dozen tabs and losing an evening, you describe what you're after and the agent goes searching — then you steer it deeper wherever something catches your eye.
How to prompt it
Write what you're researching the way you'd brief a collaborator: the subject, the mood, the era, the technique. "Handheld documentary-style fashion films with muted color grading" works better than a single keyword. The more direction you give, the sharper the results.
Where it searches
Today, the Research Agent searches Vimeo, with more sources coming. That makes it especially strong for film, commercial, and motion work — the kind of references that are hard to surface with a regular search engine.
Going down the rabbit hole
Research rarely ends with the first result. When the agent finds something good, you can explore similar work to branch out in that direction, or dig into credits — see who made a piece and what else they've made. It's the way you'd naturally chase a reference trail, without doing the digging yourself.
Save results as a board
When a thread turns up work worth keeping, save the results as a board. From there it behaves like any other board in Bloom — arrange it, share it, build on it. See Boards.
Research threads persist
Every search lives in a research thread you can come back to. Revisit a past thread, see what the agent found, and continue where you left off — useful when a project resurfaces weeks later.
Good to know: Agent turns count toward your plan's AI usage limit. You can check your remaining allowance under Settings → Usage.
