This guide takes you from a fresh account to a workspace you can actually work in.
1. Create your account
Sign up at app.bloom.site. Your personal workspace is created automatically — that's where your library, boards, and tools live.
2. Connect your phone (recommended)
During onboarding, Bloom asks to connect your phone number for Text to save — texting references straight into your library over SMS or WhatsApp (iMessage on Starter and above). Most references show up when you're not at your computer.
You can skip this and set it up later under Settings → Connections. See Text to save.
3. Save your first media
Try the two zero-setup methods:
- Upload — drag images, videos, or folders into your library.
- Paste a link — paste a URL from Instagram, Vimeo, Pinterest, YouTube, TikTok, X, or any website. Bloom pulls in the media and metadata.
Save a handful of references so you have something to organize. See Ways to save for the Chrome Extension, imports, and Text to save.
4. Open your library and a board
Your library is the DAM for everything you save. Create a board for a real pitch, job, or direction — and drag references and assets onto it. Most teams also keep an inspiration board and work boards they come back to often.
5. Try a tool or an agent
- Open a video and use GIF Maker or stills and clips.
- On Pro or Team, run the Research Agent on a real brief.
