Capture a still
Open a video reference and choose Capture Still (or the equivalent in the tools list). Scrub to the frame, capture, and save. The still lands in your library like any other image — indexed for search, ready for boards and decks.
Use stills when the moment is a composition, a grade, or a wardrobe detail, not a motion beat.
Create a clip
Create Clip pulls a video excerpt rather than a GIF. Use it when you need the motion in a native video file — for a deck, a presentation, or to hand to editorial — instead of an animated GIF.
Trimming follows the same idea as GIF Maker: in and out points, then save to the library or download.
Visual search
From a reference, Visual Search finds similar work in your library (and, where available, continues into research). It's the fast way to turn one frame into a cluster of related selects.
