You've probably been collecting references for years — just not in Bloom. Imports bring those collections in wholesale, so everything is searchable in one place.
What you can import
- Pinterest — your pins and boards.
- Vimeo — your likes.
- Dropbox — files and folders.

How to connect a source
Go to Settings → Connections → Sources and connect the account you want to import from. Each source uses a standard OAuth flow — you authorize Bloom with the other service, and the import runs from there.
Only workspace owners and admins can import. If you're a member and don't see the option, ask an owner or admin to run it.
Where imports land
Imports go to your library, not to boards. That's deliberate: the library is the home for everything you've saved, and boards are the curation layer on top. Once an import finishes, use the library's source filter to see exactly what came in — filter by pinterest, vimeo, and so on — then organize the keepers onto boards. See Your library.
Imported references are indexed by Creative Memory in the background like any other save, so you can search them in natural language shortly after they arrive.
Re-importing is safe
Run an import again whenever you like — Bloom skips anything it already imported, so you won't end up with duplicates. This makes imports a reasonable way to periodically sync new pins or likes into Bloom.
Good to know: Dropbox imports count toward your plan's storage limit, the same as uploads. If you're bringing in a large archive, check your headroom in Plans & limits first.
When to import vs. upload
If the files are already on your computer, drag them in. If they live in Pinterest, Vimeo, or Dropbox — especially in large numbers — connect the source and import once. Both feed the same library.
