Most Bloom issues come down to a handful of causes. Work through the relevant section below, and if you're still stuck, email [email protected].
The extension isn't saving
Two things trip people up with the Chrome extension:
- Refresh the page after installing. The extension can't see tabs that were already open before it was installed. Reload the page and try again.
- Make sure you're signed in. The extension needs an active Bloom sign-in to save. If your session expired, sign back in and retry.
Text-to-save isn't working
If your texts aren't turning into saves, check these in order:
- Is your phone number verified? Verification lives under Settings → Connections. Text-to-save won't work until your number is verified.
- Do you have saves left? Basic includes 60 text-to-saves total. Once they're used, Bloom lets you know by message; upgrading unlocks unlimited saves.
- Did you text STOP at some point? Replying STOP opts you out of text-to-save. You'll need to opt back in before saves work again.
Imports aren't running
Pinterest, Vimeo, and Dropbox imports are owner/admin only — if you're a member, ask your workspace owner to run the import. Also note that imports skip duplicates: if a re-import seems to bring in "nothing," it may just be that everything was already in your library.
You've hit a limit
Bloom tells you in context when you reach a cap:
- Boards — hitting the board limit opens the plan picker, including when an import would create a new board.
- Storage — when storage is full, uploads are blocked until you free space or upgrade.
- Creative Memory — saves still work past the cap; they just aren't indexed for AI search.
Settings → Usage shows exactly where you stand on every meter. See Plans & limits for what each plan includes.
