Not everyone who touches your work needs the same access. Bloom draws three lines: members inside the workspace, guests scoped to specific boards, and presentation viewers who just follow a link.
The three tiers
- Members have full access to workspace content and can create boards. This is your team.
- Guests only see the boards and projects explicitly shared with them. This is a client or freelancer who should see the pitch board — and nothing else.
- Presentation viewers aren't in the workspace at all. They open a presentation link anonymously, and what they can do is set per link by its permission toggles. They consume no seat.
Roles
Within the workspace there are four roles: owner, admin, member, and guest. Owners and admins additionally manage workspace settings, invite people, manage roles, and access billing.
Guests: collaborator or viewer
When you share a board with a guest, you choose their level:
- Collaborator — can add and remove references, rename, manage clusters, present, share, and use notes and comments. They can only rename or delete boards they created themselves.
- Viewer — view-only access to the board.
Sharing a board with a guest also grants them matching access to its sub-boards, so a project shared once stays navigable without extra invites.
Inviting people
Owners and admins invite from workspace settings → People. Invites are batch: enter multiple emails at once, set a role per invite, and optionally grant board access in the same step — useful for onboarding a guest straight onto the right project.

Pending invites count toward these limits, so clear out stale ones if you're near the cap. Full pricing is on plans and limits.
Good to know: if someone only needs to review and react, a presentation link is often the right tool — no seat, no invite, and you still get favorites and comments back.
